Our namesake publication, Slant’d, is an annual literary magazine that showcases authentic stories tied together a theme that reflects what is happening today in Asian America.
Each issue features a beautifully curated selection of thought-provoking essays, photo essays, poems, and visual art that celebrates what it means to be human.
We accept literary magazine story proposals once/year. Follow us on Instagram or sign up for our mailing list to be notified when the submissions window opens. We do not accept unsolicited proposals / pitches throughout the year.

Our book publishing program launched in 2025 and focuses on short story collections, children's picture books, and untraditional memoirs: genres that exist at the sweet spot between the forms we're good at, the types of stories we love, and the genres that have been historically "tougher" for AAPIs to break into when it comes to traditional publishing.
We accept book proposals year-around. Visit the Submissions page to learn more and submit your book proposal.
